FFA Fantasy Feedout and Profitability Challenge Deadline Near
Missouri Ag Connection - 09/20/2019

The University of Missouri's College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources confirms it supports the youth in agriculture by sponsoring $500 scholarships to each individual team member of the winning FFA Fantasy Feedout team, with the stipulation that they attend the University of Missouri and choose a major in CAFNR.

"We couldn't be happier to have the support of M.U. and other agriculturists," said Missouri Cattlemen's Association Manger of Strategic Solutions Coby Wilson. "The Fantasy Feedout is a great opportunity for Missouri FFA members to put their classroom lessons into action as they learn more about the cattle industry."

The FFA Fantasy Feedout is held in conjunction with the MCA's Profitability Challenge "Top 100" Steer Feedout. Cattle producers will have the opportunity to gain insight on data that they might not otherwise have access to. The deadline to enroll and wean steers is Sept. 25.

Elanco Animal Health has announced that they will donate one 10 dose bottle per enrolled steer for this event. These vaccines can be given to the producer once enrolled or may be picked up on delivery day to use to use for the next calf crop.
