MU to Celebrate 25 Years of Clydesdale Hall Friday

The University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine will host the 25th anniversary celebration of Clydesdale Hall. Clydesdale Hall was completed in March 1993. It was built to house the College of Veterinary Medicine's Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital where veterinary students acquire hands-on clinical experience and was renamed the Veterinary Health Center in 2015.

Currently, Clydesdale Hall comprises the Equine, Food Animal and Small Animal hospitals.

Speakers at the special event Sept. 21, beginning at 3 p.m., will include:

- Carolyn J. Henry, dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine

- Dan Brown, Missouri state senator

- David Gourley, 1994 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine

- David A. Wilson, director of the Veterinary Health Center

The program takes place in the entrance to the Small Animal Hospital, Clydesdale Hall, 900 East Campus Drive, Columbia.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments, hospital tours and door prizes will be provided.
