Beginning Farmer Small Fruit Production Series Starting

University of Missouri Extension offers a webinar series for small and beginning farmers to learn how to operate a small fruit operation.

The first of 10 sessions begins Oct. 19.

The Zoom sessions cover the basics on topics from small pest management to berry production, said MU Extension horticulturist Debi Kelly. MU Extension specialists teach the 60-minute sessions with 30 minutes for questions and answers.

Deadline to register is 5 p.m. Oct. 16. The fee is $100; scholarships are available for Missouri beginning farmers and will be discounted on the registration site.
