Save on Soil Tests at Greene County Extension

December can be a great time to take a soil sample from your garden or lawn and submit it for testing at the Greene County Extension Center.
December also happens to be when you can save $3 off the price of a soil test!
Winter soil test results are returned sooner, and it also gives homeowners more time to plan their fertilizer applications and planting in the spring.
For those that do not want to take advantage of the cost savings in December, Greene County Extension does have soil test gift certificates.
A soil test gift certificates make a great gift for the gardener or environmentally conscious person on anyone's shopping list.
Soil test gift certificates are available at the Greene County Extension Center, 2400 S. Scenic, Springfield, Mo. 65807, for $30.
Visit the Greene County Extension Center in person to purchase a certificate or mail a check to the office and staff will return a gift certificate by mail.
