Van Meter State Park to Hold Volunteer Meeting

Van Meter State Park invites the public to a volunteer meeting at 6 p.m., March 21. Attendees will learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities, share ideas for events and programs within the park, as well as fill out volunteer paperwork to officially become a part of our team. Throughout the year many events and programs take place at Van Meter, and volunteers play a crucial role in making the park a welcoming and fun place to visit.

RSVPs to this event are encouraged, but not required. If you so choose, please send an RSVP to kaylee.holt@dnr.mo.gov or call the park at 660-886-7537. Refreshments will be provided.

Van Meter State Park is located north of I-70 and west of Highway 65 in Miami, 12 miles north of Marshall at 32146 N. Highway 122. For more information about the event, call the park at 660-886-7537.
