Learn About Birds at Battle of Island Mound
Missouri Ag Connection - 05/25/2017
Visitors can learn about birds as they take an evening stroll along the Courage Trail May 25 at Battle of Island Mound State Historic Site. The Birds of a Feather hike will begin at 6 p.m. on the 0.6-mile trail.
Hikers will learn about and identify a variety of birds that are native to the area. Everyone is encouraged to bring binoculars.
Missouri State Parks is celebrating 100 years in 2017. Visitors can experience all the park system has to offer with the Centennial Passport. Visit mostateparks.com/passport for more information.
