98th Lawrence Co. Soils and Crops Conference Thursday



In its 98th year, the Lawrence County Soils and Crops Conference is set for 6 to 9 p.m. on Jan. 5 at the Southwest Research Center in Mt. Vernon. It is free.

This year's conference will cover the following topics:

Beef Market Outlook for 2023 -- Wesley Tucker, Field Specialist in Ag Business, Bolivar

Winter Grazing of Milo vs. Feeding Hay -- Rusty Lee, Field Specialist in Agronomy, Montgomery City

Challenges of Feeding High Nitrate Hay & Silage -- Reagan Bluel, Field Specialist in Dairy, Cassville
