Meristem Enhances EXCAVATOR AMS with CYCLESTRIKE

By Jamie Martin

Meristem Crop Performance® recently announced a significant update to their EXCAVATOR® AMS product, now integrated with CYCLESTRIKE™ technology.

This new formulation, encased in the innovative BIO-CAPSULE® LR, is designed to enhance microbial activity until the point of use, promising more efficient residue management and nutrient release in agricultural soils.

Mitch Eviston, Meristem Founder and CEO, highlighted the cost-saving potential of the new product, stating, “It’s time to take up to $50 out of your synthetic fertilizer spend and unlock the plant nutrition you already own.”

The reformulated product targets the decomposition of crop residues, which has been a challenge for farmers like Nick Fries from Summit View Ag.

Fries shared his positive experience, noting, “We used EXCAVATOR AMS with CYCLESTRIKE in an application in November on some acres, and the difference between treated and untreated is night and day.”

Meristem’s new formulation combines effective microbes, advanced surfactants, water conditioners, and nitrogen sources to speed up decomposition.

This synergy not only helps degrade crop stalks for better seed-to-soil contact but also enhances nutrient availability for subsequent crops, crucial for achieving higher yields in competitive farming environments.

Additionally, CYCLESTRIKE will be co-packaged with BioUp™, Meristem’s solution to counteract the effects of chlorine in municipal water on microbial products, ensuring optimal effectiveness.

With this latest innovation, Meristem continues to support farmers in adopting more sustainable and cost-effective farming practices by enhancing soil health and fertility through advanced biological research.
