Michaela Braun has taken on a new role at NOVUS, transitioning from Senior Liquid Systems & Sales Specialist to Swine Sales Manager.
Since joining the company in 2023, Braun has built strong connections within the swine team, making her move a natural progression in her career.
“I’ve really enjoyed working with the Swine Team since I came to NOVUS three years ago. When the opportunity to join the group presented itself, I knew I had to do it,” Braun says.
As of March 1, Braun is supporting swine producers across the Midwest United States. In her new position, Braun focuses on delivering advanced nutrition solutions for sow, nursery, and grow-finish operations, helping farmers improve productivity and efficiency.
Braun brings valuable experience from her previous role, where she provided technical support to feed mills. This background allows her to offer a unique perspective to both producers and nutritionists, particularly when navigating the complexities of feed production and supply chains.
“The swine industry works with a lot of toll mills. Understanding those logistics, being able to make connections and serve as a liaison can absolutely help our swine customers,” Braun says.
Braun appointment has been positively received by NOVUS leadership. Swine Regional Sales Manager Eric Sanny highlighted Braun’s career growth within the company and her readiness for new challenges.
“Many folks who work at NOVUS want to spend their entire career here. Michaela is a perfect example of how we try to make that happen for our colleagues,” Sanny says.
“She was looking for a new challenge; we are fortunate to have a position open that suited her and now we get to build on her already extensive expertise.”
Before NOVUS, Braun worked with NutriQuest Manufacturing Services and managed the Feed Technology Center at the University of Illinois, holding degrees from Kansas State University.
