Midwest crops conference 2024

The 2024 Midwest Crops Conference will be held January 17-18, 2024, in St. Joseph, Missouri. The annual event offers two days of updates from agricultural leaders, university extension specialists and industry experts from four states.

Continuing Education Credits Available

Certified Crop Advisers can receive up to 15.5 continuing education credits for attending. Registration is now open.

Timely Topics to be Covered

During the two days, attendees will hear updates on drought, soil, nutrient management, weed control and pests, among other timely topics. Ben Brown, senior research associate with the MU Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute, will give an update on the U.S. farm bill. Economist Scott Brown will provide an outlook for corn and soybean crops in 2024.

Event Sponsors

The event is sponsored by MU Extension, University of Nebraska Extension, Kansas State University and Iowa State University. It will be held at the Stoney Creek Hotel in St. Joseph.
