The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and the National Deer Association (NDA) are hosting a free online webinar to help landowners and wildlife enthusiasts learn about creating and managing food plots for deer and other wildlife.
The webinar, titled “Wildlife Food Plots in Missouri,” will take place through Zoom on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 6 p.m. The session will focus on the basics of developing successful food plots and how hunters and property owners can use them as part of their deer management strategies during the fall season.
The event will begin with an educational presentation from an NDA outreach specialist. Following the presentation, MDC and NDA experts will answer questions from attendees and provide additional guidance on wildlife habitat management.
Participants must register in advance to receive the webinar access link. Those using Zoom for the first time are encouraged to install the free software before the event begins.
The webinar concludes MDC and NDA’s 2026 Missouri Deer Management Webinar Series. Recordings of previous sessions are available through MDC’s online deer management resources.
