Lenders serving Missouri's agricultural and rural communities are invited to attend the 43rd Missouri Agricultural Lender Seminar Series hosted by the University of Missouri Extension. The seminar will be held at the Fulkerson Conference Center on the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph on Wednesday, December 6, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. Lunch will be served.
The seminar will cover a wide variety of agricultural finance topics, including:
- 2024 row crop and livestock commodity outlooks
- Production costs and 2024 enterprise budgets
- Program updates from the USDA Farm Service Agency and the Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority
- Update on local land values and cash rents
- Outlook on farm policy and 2023 Farm Bill update
In addition to the in-person seminar, there will also be a statewide webinar series covering macroeconomic outlook, timely market news, and pre-planting enterprise budget updates. Registered lenders will receive access to the seven webinars that can be shared with their agricultural clientele.
