The Best of Missouri Awards and Sale was one of the featured events during the 2026 Missouri State Fair, generating more than $113,000 to support Youth in Agriculture programs and scholarships.
The annual sale recognizes outstanding livestock and agricultural products exhibited by Missouri FFA and 4-H members while rewarding their hard work and dedication.
Top honors in the youth livestock categories went to exhibitors from across the state. Addison Bradley of Eldon earned the Grand Champion Youth Ham title, while Madelynn Charlton of Bowling Green exhibited the Grand Champion Youth Bacon.
Other grand champions included Larissa Larrick of Shelbina for Youth Beef Carcass, Harper Wolf of Chillicothe for Youth Barrow Carcass, Denver Ernst of Woodburn for Youth Lamb Carcass, and Noah Williams of Palmyra for Youth Meat Goat Carcass.
Reserve champion exhibitors also received strong support from sponsors and buyers, highlighting continued industry investment in Missouri’s next generation of agricultural leaders.
In addition to livestock entries, the sale featured premium Missouri-produced products, including award-winning wine collections, Missouri Grown gift baskets, and a collection of Best of Class cheeses.
Proceeds from these specialty items were directed to the Youth in Agriculture Scholarship Fund, helping expand educational opportunities for young people pursuing agricultural careers.
The event continues to showcase the talent, leadership, and commitment of Missouri youth while generating valuable financial support for future agricultural education and workforce development.
