Missouri State Fair Updates Livestock Nose Printing Rule

Important information for 2023 State Fair exhibitors showing steers, market heifers, market lambs and/or goats.

Each Agriculture Teacher and Extension Agent will be responsible for mailing or delivering ALL cards to the Missouri State Fair by the deadline specified in the premium guide. Nose print cards will only be mailed to and received from Agriculture Teachers and Extension Agents. No nose prints will be accepted from individuals. There will be no exceptions.

Agriculture Teachers or Extension Agents must sign the nose print card to certify that the animal was nose printed in your presence and that the animal entered is owned by the exhibitor. The nose print card must be returned by Extension Agent or Vo-Ag Instructor.

The deadlines are:

- Steers & Market Heifers: March 15

- Market Lambs & Meat Goats: June 15

The 2023 Missouri State Fair online premium guide will be available in mid-April to view at https://www.mostatefair.com/.
