Missouri Farm Bureau Names Theodore Rieckhoff Market Director

By Blake Jackson

The Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) has appointed Theodore Rieckhoff as its new director of market development and commodities, effective July 1. In this role, he will focus on expanding market opportunities and supporting Missouri farmers and ranchers.

Before joining MOFB, Rieckhoff worked for the Missouri Senate and Bartlett, where he collaborated with producers across the Midwest and the Carolinas on sustainability efforts and specialty agricultural programs.

“Theodore brings a unique combination of firsthand farming experience, agricultural policy knowledge and a passion for serving Missouri agriculture,” said MOFB President Garrett Hawkins.

“His background in agribusiness, legislative affairs and production agriculture will serve our members well as he works to strengthen markets and identify opportunities for Missouri farmers and ranchers.”

Rieckhoff earned his degree from Missouri State University and previously completed internships with MOFB and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.

Rieckhoff has also been actively involved in MOFB’s Young Farmers & Ranchers program. Rieckhoff, his wife, Makenna, and their son, Henry, live on their family farm near Sweet Springs, where they raise livestock.
