On September 14, 2024, the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks, part of the Missouri Extension Master Gardener program, will host an informative event at the New Testament Christian Church in Reeds Spring, MO. Running from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, this event will feature a diverse lineup of topics and expert speakers.
Brad Runsick, Extension Agent from Baxter County, AR, will discuss strategies for managing plant diseases.
Micah Humphreys, Associate Professor of Agriculture at the College of the Ozarks, will offer insights on fall vegetable gardening.
Lainey Harvick of Harvick Farms & Nursery in Cassville, MO, will explore fall plants that add vibrant color to gardens.
Additionally, Tom Riley, an entomologist with the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks, will cover methods for preserving habitats through fall cleanup.
Attendees can register online or by contacting the Stone County Extension Center at 417-357-6812. Tickets are priced at $25 per person, which should be paid in advance.
Cash or checks are recommended for on-site vendor purchases. This event is made possible through the collaboration of the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks, Stone County Extension Council, and Stone County Commission.
