The University of Missouri Extension offers a free webinar to help you navigate grants, loans, and cost-sharing opportunities. The virtual workshop takes place on Thursday, Dec. 12, from 6-7 p.m.
"In the past several years, we have seen a variety of new federally supported programs developed targeting small farms and food producers," says Justin Keay, MU Extension horticulturist. "This is a good opportunity to learn about these programs while funding is available."
The session covers grants from the Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Heartland Regional Food Business Center, loans from the Farm Service Agency, and cost-sharing programs from the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
"This will be a great webinar bringing together partners who support small farms and food businesses," Keay adds. Plus, one lucky attendee will win free registration to the prestigious 2025 Great Plains Growers Conference (https://www.greatplainsgrowersconference.org/), known for connecting fruit and vegetable growers in the region.
