Kelly Tillage Expands Global Footprint with $2 Million Assembly Facility in Missouri

Kelly Tillage to Establish $2 Million Assembly Facility in Missouri, Creating Jobs and Expanding Global Reach

Australian agricultural machinery manufacturer, Kelly Tillage, has announced its plans to invest $2 million in building a new assembly facility in Rogersville, Missouri. This strategic move will result in the creation of 22 new jobs and signifies the company's first assembly facility outside of Australia. The expansion comes as a response to the growing agricultural industry and will enable Kelly Tillage to better serve the North American market.

Kelly Tillage specializes in shallow tillage disc-chain technology, offering innovative solutions for sustainable seedbed preparation, residue management, and mechanical weed control. With a presence in 34 countries and products available at dealerships across the United States, the company has experienced significant growth over the past two decades. Missouri's central location, skilled labor force, robust manufacturing capabilities, and supportive regulatory environment were key factors in selecting Rogersville as the site for the new facility.

Governor Mike Parson expressed his enthusiasm for the investment, highlighting the benefits it will bring to the local community and the broader Missouri agriculture industry. Calvin Stead, Managing Director and CEO of Kelly Tillage, emphasized the strategic importance of the expansion, stating that it is the next logical step in the company's global expansion efforts.

Kelly Tillage's decision to establish a presence in Missouri underscores the state's status as an agricultural leader. The project will be supported by the Missouri Works program, which provides access to capital through withholdings or tax credits to encourage job creation and retention. The company is dedicated to enhancing soil structure, productivity, and overall agricultural sustainability.

The establishment of the new assembly facility in Missouri marks an exciting milestone for Kelly Tillage, enabling the company to further serve its North American customers while contributing to the local economy and community.
