The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC), in partnership with the National Deer Association (NDA), is offering a free educational opportunity for landowners and wildlife enthusiasts.
The upcoming Zoom webinar, titled “Wildflowers and Whitetails,” is designed to help participants learn effective open-land management techniques that benefit white-tailed deer habitat.
This live session will take place on Tuesday, August 26, at 6 p.m. and will begin with a presentation from an MDC private lands deer biologist. Following the presentation, attendees will have the chance to ask questions and engage with experts from both MDC and NDA.
Those interested in improving deer habitat on their properties are encouraged to join the event. The webinar will focus on how incorporating wildflowers and other native vegetation can enhance land for deer and other wildlife.
To attend the free webinar, simply save and use this Zoom link at the scheduled time: short.mdc.mo.gov/4tY.
This session is the third in the 2025 Missouri Deer Management Webinar Series hosted by MDC and NDA. The final webinar in the series, “Utilizing Prescribed Fire for Deer Management,” is scheduled for September 9 at 6 p.m. and will explore another essential land management tool.
