The Missouri Corn Growers Association celebrates the recipients of their 2024 scholarships! Seven deserving students, all pursuing degrees in agronomy or related fields, will each receive $1,000 to support their college education.
High school seniors and college seniors from Missouri were eligible to apply. Scholarship hopefuls were evaluated on essays, applications, references, grades, and extracurricular activities.
The 2024 scholarship recipients include:
- James Baker (University of Missouri)
- Blake Deppe (University of Central Missouri)
- Tyler Fenner (Northwest Missouri State University)
- Haley Hunsel (University of Missouri)
- Larissa Larrick (University of Missouri)
- Annika Riekhof (University of Missouri)
- Aliza Yoder (University of Missouri)
"This year's applicants were incredibly impressive," remarked Missouri Corn Scholarship Chairman Brandon Thiel. "We're proud to support these future leaders in Missouri's agriculture industry."
The Missouri Corn Scholarship program has been awarding scholarships to deserving students for 28 years. Applications for the 2025 program will be available online by December 15th, 2024.
