Participants also learned from farmers, agricultural industry professionals, social media influencers, and congressional staff, gaining insight into how to communicate key agricultural issues.
As part of the program, attendees toured the Missouri Soybean Center for Innovation, where they explored current research and advancements supporting farmers across the state. The visit provided a deeper understanding of innovation in agriculture and its role in improving productivity and sustainability.
The academy concluded with mock legislative hearings at the Missouri State Capitol. Students presented on key agricultural topics to state officials, including Senators.
