The 2026 West Central Farmers & Producers Conference will provide Missouri farmers and agricultural producers with an opportunity to gain practical, research-based knowledge focused on regenerative agriculture and soil health.
The event is part of a statewide conference series designed to bring educational resources directly to farmers, reducing the need for long-distance travel to industry events.
The conference will take place on September 17, 2026, at the KC Urban Impact Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This year’s program will focus on improving soil fertility, enhancing soil health, and implementing regenerative agriculture practices that can strengthen farm productivity and sustainability.
Participants will learn about the relationship between plants and soil, management strategies that maximize soil performance, and opportunities available through organizations such as the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) Program and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
In addition to educational presentations from agricultural experts, attendees will have opportunities to network with fellow producers, explore valuable farming resources, and compete for farm-focused door prizes.
The conference is free to attend and includes lunch and refreshments. Organizers say the event is designed to help producers apply proven practices that support long-term farm success while promoting healthier soils and more resilient agricultural operations.
