Calling all Missouri cattle ranchers! Get ready to dive into the latest advancements in beef production at the annual KOMA Beef Cattle Conference. This collaborative event, hosted by Extension services from Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Missouri, and Arkansas, is your one-stop shop for practical knowledge and expert insights.

Mark your calendars for February 12, 2024, as the Missouri leg of the conference unfolds at the MU Southwest Research Extension and Education Center in Mount Vernon. From 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, you'll be immersed in a program packed with valuable information designed to elevate your operation.

"This year's conference brings you the freshest research from across four universities, covering critical areas like cattle feeding, supplementation, reproduction, and grazing management," shares Patrick Davis, MU Extension Regional Livestock Field Specialist. Get ready to learn from the best – presentations will be delivered by both esteemed professors and promising agricultural graduate students.

And there's more! James Mitchell, a renowned Extension livestock economist from the University of Arkansas, will deliver a keynote presentation that's sure to leave you thinking strategically.

To fuel your day of learning, a delicious lunch courtesy of MERCK Animal Health awaits, along with refreshments throughout the event. Plus, explore booths set up by supportive agricultural businesses and discover how their products and services can benefit your cattle operation.

Don't miss this opportunity to stay ahead of the curve! Register and pay the $20 fee before February 8th to secure your spot. Remember, cancellations after the deadline are non-refundable.
