MO Corn Planting is Moving Quick


Missouri farmers made good planting progress in the last week.

The latest Crop Progress and Conditions report from USDA says 80% of corn planting is complete in the state, an increase of 22 percentage points from the previous week. Thirty-one percent of corn is emerging.

Soybean planting is 34% complete, an increase of 18 percentage points from the previous week with 12% of soybeans emerging, well above normal.
