Nathan Willett Earns Endorsement From Missouri Soybean Association

By Blake Jackson

The Missouri Soybean Association (MSA) has endorsed Nathan Willett in his campaign for Missouri’s 6th Congressional District, recognizing his strong agricultural background, commitment to rural communities, and focus on policies that benefit farmers and American agriculture.

A seventh-generation Missourian, Willett is a high school math teacher and the only Republican serving on the Kansas City Council. During his time on the council, he has supported initiatives that delivered record pay raises for Kansas City Police Department officers, reduced the city’s property tax burden, and advanced infrastructure investments that benefit agricultural assets in the Kansas City region. He has also advocated for the interests of working families and rural communities across North Missouri.

“Nathan Willett understands the importance of agriculture to our state and economy,” said MSA President Renee Fordyce.

“He has demonstrated a commitment to conservative principles, rural communities and the policies that allow family farms to thrive. We are proud to endorse Nathan and look forward to working with him to ensure Missouri farmers continue to have a strong voice in Washington.”

“I am incredibly honored to earn the endorsement of the Missouri Soybean Association. My family has farmed in North Missouri for seven generations, so it is especially humbling to have the support of soybean farmers from across the 6th Congressional District," Willett said.

"Farmers need a congressman focused on delivering policy outcomes that strengthen rural communities, expand markets, lower costs, and protect the future of agriculture. That’s exactly the kind of representative I intend to be. I am grateful for this endorsement, and I will work every day to ensure Missouri farmers have a strong voice and a proven advocate in Congress.”
