Join the University of Missouri (MU) and Lincoln University (LU) Extension, in partnership with the Webb City Farmers Market, for an enriching series of workshops featuring successful farmers sharing their expertise on effective farming practices. These evening sessions will provide a valuable opportunity to learn directly from experienced farmers through recorded presentations followed by live question and answer sessions.
The upcoming workshop schedule includes a diverse range of topics:
- May 7th: Sweet Potato farming with farmer Curtis Millsap
- May 14th: Alliums (onions, garlic, etc.) with farmer Curtis Millsap
- May 21st: Leafy Greens with farmer Karen Scott
- May 28th: Tomato cultivation with farmer Andre Gradinaru
- May 30th: Establishing a Berry Farm with Angela Brattin and Patrick Byers
Each session will take place from 7 PM to 8 PM CDT and is free of charge. Participants will benefit from the practical insights shared in the recorded presentations and can engage in focused discussions during the live Q&A with the featured farmers.
