The Missouri Corn Growers Association and the Missouri Corn Merchandising Council are offering seven $1,000 scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year. These scholarships will be awarded to deserving high school seniors and college juniors who meet specific eligibility criteria.
To apply, high school seniors must be Missouri residents from farm or rural areas and plan to pursue a degree in agriculture at a two-year or four-year college. The scholarship will be applied to the winner's freshman year college expenses.
For college juniors, eligibility requires Missouri residency, enrollment in a four-year college or university, and a major in agriculture. Applicants must have completed between 60 and 90 semester credit hours by the time of application. These scholarships will help cover expenses during the senior year of college.
Applicants must submit an application form, official transcripts, and at least one letter of recommendation by February 14, 2025.
Once selected, scholarship recipients will be required to assist with staffing one of several Missouri Corn events, such as golf tournaments, clay shoots, fairs, and conferences, to fulfill the scholarship's requirements.
Congratulations to the 2024 Missouri Corn Scholarship recipients, including students from the University of Missouri, University of Central Missouri, and Northwest Missouri State University, who are pursuing degrees in agriculture fields.
