Annie's Project Offered Virtually

This fall, University of Missouri Extension will offer Annie's Project, a program for women in agriculture. The virtual, interactive sessions focus on risk management, says Karisha Devlin, MU Extension agricultural business and policy specialist.

The weekly classes offer women an opportunity to learn how to strengthen their farming operations. Experts in production, financial management, human resources, marketing and the legal field lead the discussions. Additionally, the classes create networking opportunities for participants, says Devlin.

Participants will attend weekly sessions via Zoom and complete self-paced activities and videos. Participants will receive 18 hours of risk management education. The interactive sessions allow participants to ask questions.

The 2.5-hour sessions will be held 6:30-9 p.m Tuesdays from Oct. 18 to Nov. 22.

Register by Oct. 17 . Class size is limited.

For questions or more information, contact Karisha Devlin at devlink@missouri.edu or Wesley Tucker at tuckerw@missouri.edu.
