Lincoln University Cooperative Extension is offering free, personalized one-on-one consultations designed to support sheep and goat producers in improving the efficiency and sustainability of their operations.
Farmers are invited to take advantage of expert guidance tailored to their specific needs, covering key areas such as sustainable herd management, forage-based nutrition, parasite control, and profitable breeding strategies.
These consultations aim to help producers build more resilient and productive herds by focusing on practical, research-backed approaches.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your current practices, this is a valuable opportunity to receive individualized support from specialists who understand the unique challenges of small ruminant farming.
The sessions will take place on July 12, 2025, from 8:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST at the LU Small Ruminant Booth, located at the George Washington Carver National Monument, 5646 Carver Road, Diamond, Missouri 64840.
Participation is completely free, but scheduling in advance is encouraged. To register or arrange your consultation, contact Mohan Acharya at acharyam@lincolnu.edu or call 573-681-5566.
Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities or special needs. Please contact Mohan Acharya in advance to make the necessary arrangements and ensure an inclusive experience for all attendees.
