Missouri agriculture students have until February 14 to apply for the 2025 Missouri Corn Scholarship. Offered by the Missouri Corn Growers Association, Missouri Corn Merchandising Council, and Missouri Corn Foundation, this program provides seven scholarships worth $1,000 each to students pursuing careers in agriculture.
Applications can be found online at https://mocorn.org/resources/education/scholarships/. To be considered, applicants must submit a completed form, an official high school or college transcript, and at least one letter of recommendation by the February 14 deadline.
Eligible high school seniors must be Missouri residents from a farm or rural community. They should be planning to enroll in a two- or four-year college or university with a major in an agriculture-related field. Scholarship funds will be applied to their freshman year of college expenses.
College applicants must also be Missouri residents from a farm or rural background. They must currently be juniors at a four-year college or university, majoring in an agriculture-related field. Funds awarded will go toward their senior-year expenses.
Recipients are required to assist at a Missouri Corn event as part of the scholarship conditions. Applications will be reviewed by the Missouri Corn Scholarship Committee, and selected students will receive notification by mail before April 15, 2025.
