The Missouri Farm Bureau’s Political Action Committee, representing grassroots members, has voted to endorse Mike Kehoe for Governor in the upcoming 2024 election. This marks continued support for Kehoe, who previously earned the organization's endorsement for roles as Missouri’s lieutenant governor and as a member of the State Senate.
MOFB President Garrett Hawkins highlighted Kehoe's steadfast advocacy for agriculture and private property rights, crucial factors for Missouri’s farmers. As a first-generation farmer, Kehoe's appreciation for the agricultural sector aligns with the values of the farming community.
With a longstanding membership in the Farm Bureau, Kehoe began his service in the Missouri State Senate in 2011, later assuming the role of lieutenant governor in 2018. Recognized for his commitment to agritourism growth, Kehoe has actively supported infrastructure improvements, including rural roads, bridges, and broadband, benefiting the entire state.
Trent Drake, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, commended Kehoe's leadership in advancing agritourism and contributing to the enhancement of essential infrastructure. The endorsement reflects the trust and confidence the Farm Bureau has in Kehoe's ability to champion the interests of Missouri’s agricultural community.
The endorsement by the MOFB Federation State Political Action Committee underscores Kehoe's proven dedication to the welfare of farmers and ranchers, solidifying his position as a candidate with strong support from the agricultural community.
