Another tool has been launched to help Missouri farmers being impacted by the drought.
State Treasurer Vivek Malek is launching the Farm Relief Loan program to aid farmers and ranchers grappling with severe drought conditions.
This program offers reduced-rate loans, providing vital support to producers affected by this year's drought. With reduced interest rates on bank loans, the MoBUCKS program will allocate $100 million for Farm Relief Loans.
The application portal closes Friday, Oct. 13th. Eligible farmers, especially in counties facing moderate or worse drought status, should apply promptly.
