Virtual Training: Basics for Low Stress Animal Handling in Spanish

Are you interested in learning how cattle, sheep and goats perceive the world? Or how the way you interact with these animals can impact your work and farm productivity? Then join this training offered by Michigan State University Extension at 2 p.m. on Oct. 21.

The training will be taught in Spanish and will be focused on ruminants. Some of the topics that will be covered include:

- Differences between pray and predators

- Flight zone, blind spot, and point of balance

- What to do and what not to do when interacting with animals

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the training.

This training is offered at no cost. It is open to anyone in the U.S. and abroad, however, registration is required.
