On September 5, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the First Baptist Church of Ewing, located at 21875 Hwy 6 in Ewing, MO, will host a one-day workshop tailored specifically for women involved in agriculture.
The event, organized by the University of Missouri Extension, invites women from across northeast Missouri and Illinois to participate in a comprehensive program focused on farm and home management.
The workshop will cover a diverse range of topics, including wildlife habitat improvement, grain and livestock production and marketing, and the latest advancements in agricultural technology.
Additionally, the program will address personal health and wellness, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions that benefit both their farms and households.
Recognizing the crucial role women play in agriculture, the MU Extension aims to empower participants through targeted education and practical advice.
The workshop will be held in person, with an option for virtual attendance for those unable to join on-site.
This event is free of charge, making it accessible to all interested women in the region. For more information or to register, please contact Brenda Schreck at schreckb@missouri.edu or call 573-767-5273.
