Join us for heirloom gardening fun at Baker Creek farm

By Blake Jackson

Join the Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company for a vibrant celebration of heirloom gardening at their Mansfield, Missouri farm on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This event promises a delightful experience with expert speakers, local food, unique vendors, greenhouse and garden tours, and old-fashioned entertainment.

Admission to the festival is free, but due to limited parking, attendees are encouraged to purchase a $15 per vehicle ticket in advance. The festival will feature world-class speakers covering topics such as heirloom gardening, seed saving, sustainable agriculture, market gardening, and health in the speaker tent.

Enjoy traditional and bluegrass music performances throughout the day on multiple stages, along with storytelling, blacksmithing demonstrations, kids’ activities, and much more. Musicians can also participate in an old-time music contest.

Whether you're a gardener, farmer, or simply passionate about sustainable living, this festival offers a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and celebrate the beauty and importance of heirloom gardening in the picturesque setting of the Baker Creek farm.
