The Missouri Corn Foundation has announced its 2025 scholarship recipients, awarding $1,000 each to seven talented students pursuing agricultural degrees.
The scholarship program, now in its 29th year, supports future leaders in the agriculture sector. Eligible applicants included Missouri high school seniors and college students entering their senior year, all dedicated to furthering their education in an agricultural field.
The Missouri Corn Scholarship Committee meticulously reviewed applications, considering essays, references, academic performance, and extracurricular involvement.
This year's deserving recipients are Clare Staley (University of Missouri), Hallie Harkrader (University of Missouri), Isabell Rice (College of the Ozarks), McKenna Claborn (Texas Tech University), Megan Rice (University of Missouri), Noah Groose (University of Missouri), and Owen Wyatt (University of Missouri).
“This program allows Missouri Corn to recognize these outstanding young people in our rural communities,” notes Missouri Corn Scholarship Chairman Greg Bertz of Mayview. “It also lets us help offset the cost of continuing their education, because it is very much an investment. We are so proud of the students that applied and look forward to seeing them succeed in the agriculture industry.”
The Scholarship Committee also included Missouri Corn Merchandising Council board members Dylan Rosier, Brian Willott, Brandon Thiel, and Will Hunter.
Their selections were affirmed by the Missouri Corn Foundation board. Information regarding the 2026 Missouri Corn Scholarship Program will be accessible online by December 15, 2025. This initiative underscores the Missouri Corn Foundation's commitment to fostering the next generation of agricultural professionals.
