Missouri State Fair Celebrates Tradition and Promotes Pork Industry

The Missouri State Fair returns, spanning 11 days and promising to be a grand celebration of Missouri's farming traditions. From August 10 to August 20, fair attendees will have plenty of opportunities to immerse themselves in the vibrant pork industry while enjoying a multitude of fun activities and mouth-watering food in Sedalia.

The Missouri Pork Association (MPA) will have a strong presence, showcasing the dedication of Missouri's young FFA and 4-H enthusiasts through various events.

On August 10 at 9:00 am, they will be hosting the Youth Swine Skillathon, followed by the 4-H/FFA Swine Judging Contest on August 11. They will also play an active role in Youth in Agriculture Day on August 19. Attendees are encouraged to support these events and cheer for Missouri's youthful agricultural talents.

Don't forget to satisfy your hunger at The Pork Place. In the cool comfort of air conditioning, you can enjoy a lot of pork favorites, from the top chop dinner to a classic BLT. You can also collect new pork recipes and enter a draw to win exciting prizes.
