Blake Rollins has been appointed as the executive vice president of The Poultry Federation (TPF), bringing with him extensive leadership experience in agriculture and policy. His role will be key in advancing TPF's mission to promote and protect the poultry and egg industries in Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
Before joining TPF, Rollins served as the chief administrative officer at the Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB), where he was crucial in policy advocacy, public affairs, and leadership development, representing over 150,000 member families. His efforts helped further MOFB's policy objectives and initiatives in agriculture. Rollins also held senior roles at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), including deputy chief of staff, where he was instrumental in ensuring the stability of the food supply chain during the COVID-19 pandemic and managing disaster response efforts in agriculture.
"I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve as The Poultry Federation’s Executive Vice President," said Rollins. "Poultry and egg production are vital to the economies of Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, and as the most consumed livestock commodity in America, the industry is essential to our nation’s food security. I look forward to working with our members to support and grow this critical sector."
"Blake's extensive experience and proven leadership in the agricultural sector make him an outstanding addition to our team. We are confident that his vision and dedication will greatly benefit our members and the industry," said TPF President Marvin Childers.
Rollins holds a Master of Laws in Agriculture and Food Law and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Taylor University. His career also includes legislative experience as an advisor on agricultural policy for U.S. Senator John Boozman. As a native of Arkansas with deep roots in the region, Rollins brings valuable insights into the agricultural challenges and opportunities faced by the area.
