The Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) just discovered its newest champions for agriculture: Madison Meyer and Caleb Simpson! These exceptional students, a plant sciences major and an agribusiness management major respectively, were crowned the 2024 MOFB Ambassadors at the recent annual meeting.
This prestigious program, open to students aged 17-22, selects one young woman and one young man to serve as ambassadors for the agricultural community and the Farm Bureau throughout the year. Not only do they receive a $2,500 educational scholarship, but they also get the incredible opportunity to represent MOFB on a national stage.
Meyer and Simpson earned their titles through impressive individual interviews and panel discussions, besting 17 other talented competitors from across the state. Their passion for agriculture, coupled with their sharp intellect and engaging personalities, truly wowed the judges.
As MOFB Ambassadors, Meyer and Simpson will embark on a year of exciting adventures, advocating for agriculture on various platforms. They'll travel to Washington D.C. for a legislative trip, mingle with fellow agricultural enthusiasts at the Missouri State Fair, and grace numerous events promoting the agricultural sector.
With their dedication to agriculture and their undeniable charisma, Meyer and Simpson are sure to make exceptional ambassadors. Their journey promises to be an inspiring one, showcasing the future of Missouri's agricultural landscape and the passionate individuals who keep it thriving.
