Kubota and NASCAR Partner to Support Farmer Veterans

Kubota and NASCAR Partner to Support Farmer Veterans

Kubota Tractor Corporation and NASCAR today announced a new partnership to support farmer veterans through the "Geared to Give" program. The program will provide new Kubota equipment to five farmer veterans across the United States, who were selected by the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC).

The "Geared to Give" program is designed to help farmer veterans get started or expand their farming operations. The program provides new Kubota equipment, such as tractors, utility vehicles, and mowers, to help veterans with their farming needs.

The partnership between Kubota and NASCAR will also raise awareness for the "Geared to Give" program and the important work of the FVC. NASCAR driver Ross Chastain is the official spokesperson for the program, and he will be driving the No. 1 Kubota Chevrolet in select races this season. For every top-10 finish that Chastain earns, Kubota will donate $10,000 to the FVC.

"We are proud to partner with NASCAR to support farmer veterans," said Alex Woods, senior vice president of Kubota Tractor Corporation. "We believe that this partnership will help to raise awareness for the important work of the FVC and the challenges that farmer veterans face."

"We are grateful to Kubota for their support of the 'Geared to Give' program," said Jeanette Lombardo, executive director of the FVC. "This partnership will help to provide new equipment to farmer veterans who are working to build successful farming operations."

The five farmer veterans who were selected to receive new Kubota equipment are:

• Chelsey Stimson, a U.S. Navy veteran who breeds and raises registered colored angora goats for mohair in Bridger, Montana.

• Eric Pollack, a U.S. Army veteran who raises cattle, hogs, poultry, and produce on 84 acres in Willisburg, Kentucky.

• Joshua Morris, a U.S. Army veteran who raises registered Angus beef cattle and registered Boer goats on 360 acres in the Missouri Ozarks.

• Hunter Uhland, a U.S. Air Force veteran who raises 100% grass-fed and finished, non-GMO, pasture-raised rosé veal on 40 acres in Atwood, Kansas.

• Brian Chambers, a U.S. Air Force veteran who grows microgreens and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables on a diversified produce farm in Alstead, New Hampshire.

The "Geared to Give" program is a valuable resource for farmer veterans who are looking to start or expand their farming operations. The program provides new equipment, financial assistance, and technical support to help veterans succeed in agriculture.
