The Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) honored three individuals for their significant contributions to agriculture at their 109th annual meeting.
Kristin Perry, former director of the Missouri Agriculture Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT) program, received recognition for her 22 years of leadership, guiding 275 participants through agricultural immersion programs and fostering future leaders. Perry's dedication extended beyond ALOT, encompassing her own agricultural business and service on the Missouri Clean Water Commission.
Mark Wolfe, Director of the Missouri State Fair since 2009, was acknowledged for his dedication to promoting agriculture through the fair. Raised on a family farm and possessing a bachelor's degree in agribusiness, Wolfe's leadership and dedication to the fair were recognized with the Missouri Association of Fairs and Festivals Hall of Fame Award and an Honorary American FFA Degree.
Cyndi Young, farm director for Brownfield Ag News, was lauded for her extensive career covering agricultural news across the Midwest. Young's dedication to reporting and nurturing new talent in the industry earned her numerous honors, including induction into the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) Hall of Fame and recognition as "Oscar in Agriculture" and "Farm Broadcaster of the Year."
These individuals represent the spirit of collaboration and dedication that strengthens the agricultural community. Their contributions have made a lasting impact on Missouri's agricultural landscape and future.
