The Missouri Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is unveiling an exciting funding opportunity for conservation partners dedicated to outreach and education initiatives in Missouri. Proposals are welcome until March 21, 2024.
Approved proposals will focus on creating awareness, attracting new customers, and conducting outreach to Historically Underserved agricultural producers. Additionally, proposals may offer education to NRCS and partner conservation planners, along with Missouri agricultural producers, emphasizing urban agriculture. The primary objectives of these agreements are:
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Outreach:
Conduct outreach workshops, conferences, and/or virtual learning to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion in Farm Bill Programs.
Urban and Small-Scale Agriculture Education:
Organize technical workshops and/or field days centered on urban and small-scale agriculture initiatives and awareness.
How to Apply: Interested applicants must submit their proposals via grants.gov by March 21, 2024, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
