Willett Gains Strong Farm Bureau PAC Support in Missouri

By Blake Jackson

The Missouri Farm Bureau Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed Nathan Willett for election to the U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District. The decision was made by MOFB PAC trustees representing counties across the district, highlighting their support for his campaign.

“Agriculture is the backbone of Missouri’s Sixth Congressional District,” said Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins, emphasizing the importance of strong representation for farmers and ranchers in northern Missouri.

Willett is a seventh-generation Missourian born in Clay County, with deep family roots in farming and ranching in Atchison County. His professional background includes working as a math teacher in Kansas City Public Schools and the Park Hill School District. He currently serves as a member of Kansas City’s City Council.

During his campaign, Willett has actively engaged with agricultural leaders and producers throughout northern Missouri. His focus includes advocating for an updated Farm Bill, protecting private property rights, and addressing the challenges faced by rural communities. He has emphasized the importance of listening to constituents and ensuring their concerns are represented at the national level.

MOFB PAC trustees are selected by county Farm Bureau organizations, and the committee continues to support candidates who align with the needs of Missouri agriculture.
