Calling all tomato aficionados with dreams of homegrown bounty! The Extension Master Gardeners (EMGs) are here to help you cultivate delicious tomato success. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a curious beginner, this workshop series is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to nurture thriving tomato plants.

EMGs will lead you through a comprehensive learning experience that blends informative presentations with hands-on activities. You'll gain valuable insights into research-based techniques for planting, pruning, and watering your tomato plants. The workshop delves into essential aspects of tomato care, ensuring your plants receive the optimal conditions to flourish.

But that's not all! This informative series also equips you to identify and manage common tomato foes – both pests and diseases. Learning to recognize these threats is crucial for protecting your precious plants and ensuring a bountiful harvest.

  • July 20th, 9am-11am: How to construct butterfly puddlers
  • The final session on September 7th expands to include the Blue Springs Historical Society Fall Plant Sale – a perfect opportunity to find additional gardening treasures.
