Grow your farm business - apply for MO specialty crop grants

Missouri farmers, organizations, and researchers can now apply for grants to enhance their specialty crops! The Missouri Department of Agriculture's Specialty Crop Block Grant Program supports projects that:

  • Expand markets: Reach new customers locally, regionally, or even internationally.
  • Improve distribution: Develop efficient ways to get your specialty crops to consumers.
  • Drive innovation: Fund education, research, marketing, and food safety initiatives.
  • Combat challenges: Find solutions for pests, diseases, and other crop-specific hurdles.
  • Eligible crops: Fruits, vegetables, dried fruit, tree nuts, honey, and horticultural/nursery crops (including flowers).

Apply by March 26th, 3 PM! Visit the Missouri Department of Agriculture website for details and application instructions. Selected projects will be included in the state plan for federal approval.
