Missouri livestock symposium to offer diverse education

By Blake Jackson

The 24th annual Missouri Livestock Symposium will offer a wide range of educational sessions on forages, beef cattle, horses, sheep, market goats, stock dogs, horticulture, and farm management.

The symposium will be held on December 1 and 2 at the William Matthew Middle School in Kirksville, Missouri.

The forages speaker lineup will include experts from the University of Missouri Extension, other universities, and the agricultural industry. They will discuss a variety of topics, including forage selection, establishment, management, and utilization.

In addition to forages, there will also be educational tracks on beef cattle, horses, sheep, and market goats. These tracks will cover topics such as nutrition, reproduction, health, and marketing.

Additional sessions will be offered on stock dogs, horticulture, and farm management. These sessions will provide practical information on a variety of topics that are important to livestock producers.

The Missouri Livestock Symposium is a valuable resource for livestock managers who are looking to learn about the latest research and best practices. The symposium is also a great opportunity to network with other livestock producers and industry professionals.
